Established, family owned, pet food business based in the North that has been run by multiple generations. The business is a supplier of natural dog treats to wholesale trade, major retailers and independent retailers across the UK.

With strong global supply channels supporting both Own and Distributed brands, and having secured supply relationships with large retailers, Sniffers was seeking investment to expand the rate of growth of the business.

Why we chose to invest in Sniffers

With pet ownership at an all time high in the UK, and Sniffers already being a well trusted brand for the multiples, we saw real potential for Sniffers to take a much larger share of the pet food market and the double-digit growth it has been witnessing. Family run for generations, Simon was ready to take over the reigns of the business, invest in the infrastructure and consolidate the existing brands in a new proposition led brand that will support expansion of the business and products into existing and complimentary products.
